WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. The rules are simple. Answer the following three questions
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
So lets do this…
Happy Hump Day everyone!!! Sorry not sorry about all the extra exclamations. I’m super jacked up on coffee today.
Top 5 Wednesday was created by Lainey over at Gingerreadslainey. If you didn’t already know, every week you’re given a topic where you have to respond with your top 5 books relating to that topic. If you’re curious and want to learn more, click here for the Goodreads group page.
This weeks T5W topic is debuts I’m excited for. And yes, technically I already did a debuts post this week on my TTT post but there are always more debuts thankfully. And I love getting the chance to showcase new author works. Continue reading
If you didn’t already know what Top Ten Tuesday was about, every week you are given a topic and you then create a top ten list in response to that topic. Top Ten Tuesday was created by the gals over at The Broke and Bookish. Check them out, their blog is pretty cool. If you’re interested or want to learn more click here for a look at their Top Ten Tuesday page.
I feel like this might be the easiest (sadly) top ten prompt for me because looking back, I don’t think I read many 2016 releases. Which is a shame, I know. And I really don’t even know how this happened. One minute I’m super pumped to read it and the next it’s December 31st and the year is over. Then I wonder why I’m always behind and have to hide from spoilers… cue eye roll. Seriously Elissa, get it together. I admire people that keep up with releases, seriously you guys are super humans. So these are the books that I really hope to get to this year. Hopefully I can get them read early on in the year. We’ll see. Continue reading
Goodreads Description: After getting dumped, the last thing I needed was to move next door to someone who reminded me of my ex-boyfriend, Elec. Damien was a hotter version of my ex. The neighbor I’d dubbed “Angry Artist” also had two massive dogs that kept me up with their barking. He wanted nothing to do with me. Or so I thought until one night I heard laughter coming through an apparent hole in my bedroom wall. Damien had been listening to all of my phone sessions with my therapist. The sexy artist next door now knew all of my deepest secrets and insecurities. We got to talking. He set me straight with tips to get over my breakup. He became a good friend, but Damien made it clear that he couldn’t be anything more. Problem was, I was falling hard for him anyway. And as much as he pushed me away, I knew he felt the same…because his heartbeat didn’t lie. I thought my heart had been broken by Elec, but it was alive and beating harder than ever for Damien. I just hoped he wouldn’t shatter it for good. Continue reading

Hey everyone & happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t counting down the hours. Ringing in the New Year was fun and all but work kicked my butt this week. Any way, I’ve been seeing the Book Traveling Thursday meme around since I started blogging and I figured it was time to give it a go.
Book Traveling Thursday is a weekly meme created by Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog & Catia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much. The themes are announced over on the Goodreads group page. The concept is simple, every week you have to pick a book that fits the theme of the week, explain why your chosen book fits the theme, look at covers from multiple editions and multiple countries for the book you chose, and finally, include pictures of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover.
